INFORMATIONAL MEETING

December 13, 2022 – 5:00 p.m.

ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER,

The Chair called the meeting to order at 5:07 p.m. and called for a moment of silence, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

ITEM 2. ROLL CALL:

PRESENT – Schum, Wallace, Mitchell-Williams

ABSENT – Holden, Burl, Keller, Sanders, DeFrancesch, Jones, Johnson, Triche

With 3 present and 8 absent, there was not a quorum.

The following School Board Member-Elects were present: Lindsey Vicknair, Patricia Triche, Raydel Morris, Samuel Mamou, Jennifer Frizzell

Informal discussion was held regarding the following items/topics:

* Discussion/Receive Information regarding the SJBP School Board Policy Manual

* Discussion/Receive Information regarding the “onboarding process” for newly-elected Board Members

* Discussion/Receive Information regarding Board Meeting Protocol

* Discussion/Receive Information regarding the Distribution of Electronic Devices

* Discussion/Receive Information regarding the relationship between the Board and the Superintendent’s Office

Mrs. Holden arrived at 5:16 p.m.

Due to the lack of a quorum, there was no official adjournment.
