The Chair called the meeting to order and read the following call:

Upon call of the President, the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board will meet in Special Session at Godchaux Grammar Cafeteria, 1600 Highway 44, Reserve, Louisiana, at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

ITEM 1.  CALL TO ORDER, INVOCATION, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

The Chair called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

The Chair called a moment of silent meditation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Ms. Iman Montgomery.

ITEM 2. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS:

PRESENT:       Keller, Sanders, DeFrancesch, Jones, Wallace, Mitchell, Triche

ABSENT:          Holden, Johnson, Wise, Burl

There were 7 members present and 4 members absent.

ITEM 3.  Request approval to change the meeting time of the Regular School Board Meeting of May 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.

MOTION BY:    Entire Seated Board

SECOND BY:  

MOTION:  To approve changing the meeting time of the Regular School Board Meeting of May 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.

No objections.

Upon roll call, there were

7 Yeas – Keller, Sanders, DeFrancesch, Jones, Wallace, Mitchell, Triche

4 Absent - Holden, Johnson, Wise, Burl

The motion carried.

ITEM 4.  ADJOURNMENT - The agenda having been completed, and there being no further business, there was a

There were no objections.

The meeting adjourned at 5:03 p.m.
