HOLIDAYS

The St. John the Baptist Parish School Board shall establish the holiday schedule for all personnel in addition to those included in the adoption of a school calendar.  Whenever a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the Board may declare that the holiday be observed on the preceding Friday or following Monday, respectively.

General election day shall be designated by each school system as a holiday every four (4) years for the presidential election.
